I have finished my Round The World Trip and now I am resting back home in Brno, Czech Republic. I very much appreciate the hot weather that we have in Europe right now, after the cold nights in South America. Â If you ask me: how was it? Its difficult to answer. It was not a holiday. Sometimes it was difficult, psychologicaly and physicaly as well. But it was definitely worth it. Every day was different, and beautiful. There was something very nice in every country I visited. Can you guess, which country I liked the most? It was definitely Nepal. Nepal is the winner thanks to the absolutely stunning nature, plus very special and nice culture. When I was walking around Annapurna a saw people in villages working on their fields. They were working bare-footed from sunrise to sunset. Still, they were singing and they smiled with their mouths and their eyes as well. Their children wore torn clothes and were playing in such a cold weather, but their happiness was shining from them far away. Thats why I love Nepal. Â Â This is not the end of my travels. I have two more dreams to realize. One is Mongolia, which I would like to cross on the back of a horse. The other one is more difficult. I would like to take a train to India, buy the Royal Enfield 500 ccm bike and ride it back home to the Czech Republic. This will be quite dangerous. It involves riding through Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary and Slovakia. For this trip I seek an intrepid fellow who can ride a bike, for I dont want to do this one on my own. Anyone willing? Â My trip was not just a visit to many countries. It was a journey were I was constantly rediscovering myself, finding my own boundaries and finally realizing who I am. I dont think the journey changed me. It showed me that there are good and bad people everywhere, rich and poor, and that people have to work everywhere to make it to the next day. I love this planet. |
